Mark a special remembrance on our date map. Help IBC UK by marking a special day for you or a loved one. Your gift will go straight to help our charity.
The charity is staffed totally by volunteers, and therefore all money raised goes directly to our aims. If you'd like to make a donation, or would like to help in any of our fund-raising activities (or even have ideas of your own) please contact us (see contact page)
The funds are used to distribute leaflets, and promote education to both the public and health professionals. We attend public venues and give talks and presentations to all interested organisations/groups.
If you would like to be a part of a sponsored event or run for our charity, contact us by email (see the Contact Us page) and we will send you the sponsorship forms required.
If you wish to make a donation, (which can be made in remembrance or recognition of IBC patients) please contact us. A downloadable copy of the Donations Form can be obtained by clicking
.
We are registered with HM Revenue and Customs under the Gift Aid scheme and can claim tax back on any donation provided the donor gives their full name and postcode and is a UK tax payer.
We are also registered with justgiving so that we can make a page for donations to be made simply and securely online in your name.

Aberdeen City 10K 2008
Several staff from Champion Technologies Aberdeen participated in the Aberdeen City 10k Road Race in Aberdeen on Sunday 25 May. They selected IBC UK to be the charity of choice and through sponsorship and donations the team has raised £1,786 so far, which is £786 more that the original target. Thanks go out to everyone who sponsored them.
It was Paul’s 3rd 10K and he was considered relatively experienced since Dawn, Lizzie, Brian and Gary had never run an organised 10K before Sunday. Dawn and Lizzie managed to complete the run (without stopping) in 65mins, Brian, Gary and Paul in 56, 53 and 43mins respectively.
As you can see from the photo it was a glorious day. The picture shows the team looking a little tired and pink after the race, from left to right: Paul Doney, Dawn McCombie, Lizzie Bland, Brian Milne and Gary Robertson..
1st Annual Coast to Coast Cycle Ride 2008
24 - 26 May 2008 saw our brave heroes take on the challenge of doing a coast to coast cycle ride. Organised by Carl Magnay who's mother has just finished treatment for breast cancer, they began at Whitehaven, Cumbria where they dipped their bike wheels in the Irish Sea and set off on the epic journey.
Cycling approximately 50 miles per day they reached Roker, Sunderland on Monday afternoon and with sponsorship and support have raised thousands of pounds (final total later) for IBC UK.
Right to left: Christopher Cummings, Jonathan Darwin, Miles Elliott, Paul Magnay (logistics manager), Joe Short, Carl Mather (logistics), Rob Anderson, Carl Magnay and Andrew McBride (logistics).
The logistics team deserve a special mention - working tirelessly throughout the ride making sure our boys were safe and fed! Well done.
Carl Magnay our local football star had the backing of his colleagues at Chelsea Football Club - our grateful thanks go out to them.
Thank you for your continued and valued support.
